Sunday’s New York Jets vs. New England Patriots game ended with a brawl that’s now getting a lot of people talking because, in the altercation, a male Jets fan punched in the face a woman in a Patriots jersey.

The incident has been caught on camera; you can see it embedded above: the woman who got punched doesn’t appear until towards the end, when the “raging” Jets fan is almost out.

The man has been identified as Kurt Paschke, who had attended the game with his mother, a breast cancer survivor. Reports online suggest their presence at the game might have been for the purpose of raising awareness on the disease.

Paschke’s mother told the press that a group of Patriots fans had been taunting them throughout the game, with the situation escalating once it was over, as they were approaching the exit. This is when her son completely lost his cool and started throwing punches left and right, she says.

The incident is now under investigation by the New Jersey State Police, so it’s a bit too soon to speculate on whether Paschke will be facing charges for what happened. However, word is alcohol might have been a factor.
