The soap opera EastEnders actress Jessie Wallace has finally agreed to let her ex fiancee, Dave Morgan, to see his daughter for the first time since they broke up in April. The decision came after a meditation session with Dave Morgan, who will be able to see his child once a week from now on.
"They finally agreed to go to mediation earlier this month," a friend told the Sunday Mirror. "It has been a long time coming but Jessie finally decided that she and Dave had to come to an agreement for everyone's sake.
They may have their personal issues with each other that they can't resolve, but they realized they had to put those to one side for the sake of Tallulah. Both Dave and Jessie adore Tallulah and they're determined to give her the best future they possibly can - despite their break-up, the friend added.
Jessie Wallace, born 25 July 1971 plays the part of Kathleen (Kat) Moon in the popular BBC One soap opera EastEnders. Her on-screen husband Alfie Moon is played by Shane Ritchie. They formerly ran the soap's pub, The Queen Victoria.
It is widely reported by British tabloids that Jessie is an excessive drinker, and she has been convicted of drunk driving.
She was set to marry Dave Morgan, one of the police officers who gave her a lift home from the drunk driving related court case, but they have broken up - reportedly because he was tipping off photographers of where he and Jessie were going and cashing in. She gave birth to her first child, Tallulah Lilac on 2 November 2004.
On May 8, 2005, Morgan gave an exclusive interview to British tabloid News of the World. In the article, he talks about Jessie's drunken ways and her sexual habits. Many believe he just did the interview for money.
