Jessie J is a powerful vocalist but, at the same time, she's also an accessible and easily marketable pop star. The combination of both is apparent in her latest video, “Domino.”Released shortly before Christmas, the clip draws for inspiration on Jessie's chameleonic style and sees her through various costume changes, all in the space of under 4 minutes.
There's really no story to it: the video is meant to evoke the sense of freedom and happiness the song inspires and, truth be told, it does just that.
“Okay so my christmas gift to all my fans is… Is my next video!! THE #DOMINOVIDEO is going LIVE at MIDNIGHT #booooyyaaa #merrychristmas,” Jessie tweeted shortly before the video came out.
Her fans were probably thrilled for getting the best present ever from their idol.
