Just a short while ago, Jessica Simpson learned that she was pregnant with her first child. Though she and fiancé Eric Johnson were thrilled at first, they’re now coming to terms with the fact that their relationship is falling apart, says a new report. As various photos showing Jessica with what looked like a baby bump emerged, the rumor mill went into overdrive, mostly with speculation on how the pregnancy will affect their upcoming nuptials.

informed you, word got out that the wedding was postponed indefinitely.
The National Enquirer claims in its latest print issue (story via
here) that “postponed indefinitely” is just a fancy term for “nearly canceled,” as the two are just now starting to realize they can’t possibly continue together for much longer.
The pregnancy was just the straw that broke the camel’s back as regards the demise of their romance, claims the tab.
“This should be the happiest, most joyous time of Jessica’s life, but instead she’s miserable. She and Eric are just not happy together, and they’ve agreed to put off their wedding,” a friend close to the star says for the publication.
“Eric’s feeling like an outcast with Jessica, and her family fears he’s using her as a meal ticket. Jessica’s parents, Tina and Joe, are worried she’ll end up like her younger sister Ashlee – a single mom raising a child in a broken home,” adds the same insider.
To make matters even worse, Jessica is already very emotional all the time because of the pregnancy, and it’s putting more strain on the already tense relationship.
“Jessica cries at the drop of a hat, and when he tries to soothe her, she pushes him away and says she doesn’t want to be touched,” the insider explains.
For the time being, they’re trying to put on a show of unity for the public, since they’re not yet ready to pull the plug on their relationship.
“They’ve been putting on a brave face in public, but the relationship is falling apart,” the same spy says of the recent public appearances they made together.
