Jessica Simpson’s First Weight Watchers Ad Is Here

Never before has been such anticipation where a celebrity is concerned as there was with Jessica Simpson and her ability to shift the pregnancy weight. It’s happening – and it’s all thanks to Weight Watchers.

The first ad for the weight loss program with the new mommy has just premiered online. You can see it in full below, embedded at the end of this article.

The insane anticipation can be explained by Jess’ popularity and relatability. She’s also reportedly getting paid $4 million (€3.13 million) under the term of the contract so, naturally, people are eager to see how she fares.

If you’re among them too, you won’t find too many clues in her first Weight Watchers clip which, ironically enough, doesn’t even show her below the chest.

Even so, she makes a pretty strong argument, explaining that she only opted for the program because she’s just like millions of other women struggling to lose the weight, pregnancy or no pregnancy.

“I'm Jessica Simpson and yes I'm doing Weight Watchers,” the star says into the camera, smiling her mega-watt smile.

“There is a lot of pressure to lose weight but I'm not a supermodel. I'm just Jessica trying to eat real food in the real world and I really just wanna be healthy for my daughter,” she goes on to say.

In other words, whatever she’s doing, women all over the world can also do.

“So I knew Weight Watchers was the only way to go. It's working. I'm on my way and it feels amazing. Really I just wanna be a better version of myself,” Jessica adds.

Future Weight Watchers ads will most likely be of the before-and-after variety because, after all, there’s only so much talking Jessica can do to get people to fork up the cash for the program.

Simpson also unveiled her post-pregnancy figure on Katie Couric’s new show the other day, where she also showed new photos of her adorable daughter Maxwell.
