According to late rumors, singer and actress Jessica Simpson, split up with her husband, singer Nick Lachey, after almost three years of marriage.

America's Us Weekly newspaper published an article on Wednesday, that claims Jessica is the one to blame for the couple breaking up, because of her "wild partying and frequent bed guests."

But both star's representatives issued a press statement, denying the couple separated during the weekend.

"Nick and Jessica have not separated," said a statement. "Rumors to the contrary are simply not true."

In an e-mail sent to Associated Press, Simpson spokesperson Brad Cafarelli reiterated: "They have not separated."

Two weeks ago, Simpson stopped wearing her wedding ring, arguing she doesn't feel like Nick Lachey's wife anymore. The singer reportedly cried when she was asked why she had removed the ring.

Lachey, 31, and Simpson, 25, married October 26, 2002 and, during the summer of 2003, they have both starred in the reality show Newlyweds, airing on MTV.
