14 DAY TRIAL // Jessica Simpson is now pregnant with her second child and, in between working hard to keep her fashion empire immensely successful, being a doting mom and girlfriend / fiancée, she’s already decided on a name for the baby.
Granted, this is nothing official, so you should know to take it with a grain of salt.
Us Magazine reports that Jessica and Eric Johnson will name the baby Ace Johnson. Whether the baby will be a boy or a girl, the mag doesn’t say.
“Cat’s out of the bag! Jessica Simpson’s growing baby bump isn’t the only thing that she’s showing off these days. According to a source, the Fashion Star mentor is eagerly sharing the name she’s already picked out for her second baby with fiance Eric Johnson,” the publication writes.
“[She's] told people she’s going to name the baby Ace!” the insider is quoted as saying.
When she was still pregnant with 10-month daughter Maxwell, Jessica often dodged questions about the name she and Eric had chosen.
At one point, though, after rumor broke that they had settled on “Max,” she did say in a TV interview that they had picked something rather traditional, a name that would not have to be “added to the dictionary.”
“It’s nothing shocking and nothing you’ll have to add to the dictionary. Still, when people hear it they’ll know… why,” she said, as cited by the same celebrity publication.
Eric’s middle name is Maxwell, as well as his grandmother’s surname.
In January this year, shortly after announcing that she was pregnant again, Jessica told Jay Leno that she too would be joining the NBC family with a sitcom based on her life, which she’d star in (as herself) and produce.
She didn’t reveal more details (not even an estimated release date or a working title) but odds are good the show will also offer a look at her personal life, including her relationship with Eric and her experiences as a working mother.
