Jessica Simpson Wants to Give Birth in High Heels

Jessica Simpson doesn't want to give up her high heels even though she's heavily pregnant with her first child. In a new interview, the fashion designer jokes she even plans to give birth in Yves Saint Laurent.

Jessica recently sat down with the print issue of Us Weekly to speak about pregnancy, fashion, and her pregnancy style, AceShowbiz informs.

While she enjoys dressing up in ways that attract attention to her protruding bump, Jessica isn't so keen on giving up high heels just yet.

In fact, she jokes, she was told to start wearing more sensible shoes but she expressed a desire to deliver the child in heels.

“I'm probably going to deliver my baby in these [4-inch YSL heels],” Jessica jokes.

“I went to the doctor yesterday and he said, 'You're gonna need to get out of those heels!' I was like, 'Excuse me! I'll be delivering in these heels!'” she adds.

Indeed, even before she announced the pregnancy, Jessica continued wearing towering heels. Today, when her big news is no longer a secret, she's still wearing such shoes, like before.

What has changed though is her fashion style. The star says she's “never felt so connected with my body in my life,” which means she's also deriving extra pleasure from dressing up.

“I like wearing things more fitted. You want to show off your bump! It's just so fun. You don't want to wear muumuus so you can moo around town,” she says.

Since coming out in the open with her pregnancy, dubbed in the media the worst kept secret in showbiz, Jessica has been doing a lot of interviews on how it feels to be an expectant mommy and how her body is changing.

She's also causing quite a storm on Twitter, either by posting photos of herself in gorgeous dresses that emphasize her new curves or by speaking out about such things as flatulence. Apparently, it's 15 times worse than when you're not with child.
