Jessica Simpson, The Next Barbra Streisand

Joe Simpson believes his daughter, Jessica, now famous for her Daisy Duke portrayal, embodies the ideal performer, and plans to make her the next Barbra Streisand.

Simpson, who has masterminded his daughter's career up until recently, is convinced that her singing, acting and comic timing are perfectly reminiscent of the Hello Dolly star.

"I've told her since she was a little girl she could be Barbra Streisand. I've always loved Barbra Streisand, Joe said.

"She is self-effacing. She has wonderful comedic timing", he added.

"Acting was always my love, I wanted to be an actor since I was seven?", Jessica's father confessed.
