Jessica Simpson is ready to show off her weight loss after her second pregnancy: seven months after she welcomed son Ace Knute into the world, with the help of Weight Watchers, she’s back in the game and, she tells GMA, she’s more confident, healthier and happier than ever.

No one has been through more scrutiny these past few years than Jessica Simpson – and it was all mostly because she gained more weight than other celebrities during her two consecutive pregnancies.

The attention didn’t do her good, she admits to ABC correspondent Bianna Golodryga for Good Morning America. The interview is embedded below and, right under it, is the brand new Weight Watchers ad with Simpson taking center stage again.

“I was so insecure – I couldn't even believe what I weighed. I don't think that I ever expected myself to see the numbers that I have seen on the scale,” Jessica says of the pounds she packed the second time she was with child.

However, unlike the first time, when she was pregnant with daughter Maxwell, Jessica says, she stayed more active, making sure she walked a lot and even worked out. This, in turn, meant that she could give herself little treats she was craving for.

“You are creating a life, and honestly it's not easy. It is a really hard thing to go through. And you deserve to eat your ice cream, you deserve to have your pancakes. Do whatever you want to do and then afterwards just know that you have to work really hard,” Jessica explains in the full interview.

“I had to learn that with my first and second pregnancy. My first pregnancy I ate a lot more, but my second pregnancy I ate enough, like I ate what I wanted to eat but I stayed active and I think because I had gained so much weight with my first that I had to stay active throughout my second because I didn't know what to do with myself if I didn't,” she continues.

Another thing that Simpson reveals in the interview is her desire to get back to music. She also says she and fiancé Eric Johnson have finally set a date for the wedding, however refusing to say when it will take place. It will be “soon,” she laughs.
