Jessica Simpson Rubbishes Pregnancy Reports with Tequila and Margaritas

Judging by what the tabloids are saying, newly engaged Jessica Simpson is pregnant with her first child. Based on a new report, we can forget about these rumors because Jessica herself took the time to rubbish them – with plenty of alcohol.

Even before she announced she was engaged to Eric Johnson, word online had it that she looked very much pregnant. Indeed, some photos seemed to confirm she was trying to hide her baby bump under loose clothes.

After the engagement, the rumors began again, this time with even more force: clearly, she was with child and this was a shotgun wedding she was preparing, they said. Otherwise, why would she wear such loose clothes, they asked.

According to PageSix, even if she hasn’t said anything yet about a supposed bun in the oven, Jessica has made a stand: she, her fiancé and their entourage went out clubbing, and ingested enough alcohol for the media to find out about it.

“Jessica Simpson put pregnancy rumors to bed once and for all by downing margaritas and tequila shots with new fiancé Eric Johnson at Stanton Social after performing at the Rockefeller Center tree lighting on Tuesday,” PageSix writes.

“The singer took a table of 20 which included father Joe Simpson, her assistant and security guards,” the report goes on to say. And the partying went on all night long.

“They were very well-mannered and drank basil lime gimlets, pineapple 75’s, Maker’s on the rocks, margaritas and wine. They ordered a lot of food,” an eyewitness says for the e-zine.

“Jessica let her guard down enough to steal a few kisses from her fiancé in front of papa Joe. Jessica, Eric and the crew settled on shots of Don Julio to finish out the evening,” the spy explains.

In other words, if she were pregnant like reports are saying she is, she wouldn’t be partying like there’s no tomorrow and, most importantly, not even touch alcohol, let alone mix them like this.

As noted above, Jessica is yet to say anything regarding the ongoing reports that she’s expecting her first child.
