While fans are yet to find out whether Jessica Simpson is really pregnant or not, fresh reports suggest that she’s suffering from a bad case of indecision – so bad she actually postponed indefinitely her wedding to Eric Johnson. The star never really announced a date for the wedding but, for some reason, many media outlets assumed it would take place this year, most likely this autumn.
With no word yet on that,
Us Weekly claims to have learned from a very reliable source that Jessica called everything off for the simple reason that she couldn’t decide what kind of wedding she wanted.
“The Fashion Star mentor is in no rush to say ‘I do’ to fiancé Eric Johnson. Although it’s been over 10 months since Johnson, 32, proposed, insiders tell the new Us Weekly that all wedding plans have been put on hold,” the magazine writes.
Apparently, Jessica was too torn about what kind of ceremony and reception she wanted so, instead of making a choice, she decided to call if off, at least for the time being.
“Everything is up in the air. She can’t figure out what kind of day she wants. Some days she wants a big wedding in Hawaii, then other days she wants something closer to home,” a source is quoted as saying.
And that’s not all: Eric too is having second thoughts about the wedding, and his indecision isn’t helping Jessica in any way overcome hers.
“She was so gung ho about planning their wedding, and now she’s gone dark. She won’t commit to a date,” says another friend.
“[Eric’s] entire life is about the Simpsons, and he’s not sure that’s what he wants,” adds another insider.
On the other hand, only yesterday, word got out that Jessica was
pregnant with her first child and that she and Eric had decided to get married in November and not wait until the child was born.
