Jessica Simpson On A Military Tour With The Dukes Of Hazzard

Jessica Simpson started a military tour to promote her latest movie, "The Dukes of Hazzard".
She will be joined by her cast mates Willie Nelson, Johnny Knoxville and Seann William Scott, and they will be touring facilities, visiting spouses and children of deployed military members, posing for pictures and shaking hands with military personnel from several US air force bases in three American states.

According to PR Newswire, Jessica Simpson, Johnny Knoxville and Seann William Scott will visit troops on July 26 at Robins Air Force Base, Ga., and on July 27 at Fort Hood, Texas, where they will also introduce the movie, which will hit theatres on August 5.

Marines and Sailors stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., will receive a visit from Willie Nelson and Jessica Simpson on July 29, courtesy of the USO and Warner Bros. Pictures. The pair will host a free screening of their new movie, after a question-and-answer session about it.

Jessica Simpson has previously took part in several USO (United Service Organizations) tours, including trips to Pakistan, Afghanistan, Oman and ships stationed in Southwest Asia, shortly after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
In April 2004, the famous pop star headlined the 4th Infantry Division and Task Force Iron Horse "Welcome Home" celebration at Fort Hood, Texas.

Earlier this year, Jessica Simpson and her husband Nick Lachey visited troops in Germany and Iraq.

The United Service Organization has been providing morale and recreation-type services to U.S. military personnel and their families for the last 64 years. The charitable organization relies on the generosity of the American people, and it is also sustained by several important companies in the U. S., which have joined thousands of individual donors.
