She may be enjoying pregnancy right now, but Jessica Simpson is already thinking ahead. As rumored a while back, she's been courted by various weight loss programs – finally settling for Weight Watchers for a reported $3 million (€2.27 million).

As we also noted on a previous occasion, word online had it that Jessica was being pressured (to one extent or another) to sign with a weight loss program that she would then openly endorse shortly after she gave birth.

The amount circulated at the time was of $4 million (€3.01 million), though no weight loss company was mentioned in the initial report.

PageSix is now saying that the program Jessica would go on after giving birth is Weight Watchers, and that she'll make $3 million (€2.27 million) for the endorsement.

The deal is not yet signed, but it should be anytime in the following days, says the report.

“Pregnant Jessica Simpson has just inked an estimated $3 million deal with Weight Watchers, Page Six can reveal. Sources tell us the blond star has been fielding offers from a number of weight-loss programs,” the e-zine says.

That Jessica was courted from all sides for an endorsement deal makes a lot of sense, since her pregnancy is one of the most mediated of our times, thus it would make sense for people to show the same kind of interest in her new figure and, of course, the means she used to get it.

“The deal is in place, and after having her baby, she’ll start with Weight Watchers to lose her baby weight,” a source confirms for PageSix.

Moreover, the e-zine says, losing weight on Weight Watchers will also help Jessica with her wedding plans because she will finally be able to tie the knot with her boyfriend, Eric Johnson.

“Simpson has another reason to get in shape fast – she hopes to wed her fiancé, Eric Johnson, soon after she gives birth,” the aforementioned media outlet writes.

Confirmation that Jessica is the official new Weight Watchers spokesperson is yet to come. However, the collaboration will most likely be announced after she welcomes her bundle of joy into the world.
