I always suspected there was something not quite right about Jessica Simpson. Didn't you ever wonder how come this fabulously-looking woman who's got pretty much anything she could ever wish for (a great career, a great family...) still has so much s**t going on? OK, maybe I was exaggerating with the "great career and family thing" - and that's just it. She keeps trying and trying and yet there's nothing about her life that seems to be going quite the right way. Didn't you ever wonder if there's some kind of jinx involved? Some curse that touches everything Jessica does and everyone who comes close to her? Nick Lachey should know! Think of all the ruined, straight to DVD movies, the scathing review and the fact that her dad is playing matchmaker for his little troublesome princess. All that adds up to... the Jessica Simpson curse.
And just in case you needed more proof, here is a pretty convincing argument in support of the Jessica-jinx theory. The blonde... well, not ambition but let's go with "bombshell" attended her new boyfriend's game last Sunday. Tony Romo, I remind you, plays quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys - but at the Sunday match against the Philadelphia Eagles, he had one of the his worse games ever. I'm not kidding. Jessica was there to support her new man, and came to the game wearing a pink version of Romo's jersey - but do you really think it's a coincidence his game started sucking right after he hooked up with the blonde singer/actress?
I for once think that the whole phenomenon should be carefully investigated. If Tony's next matches go as bad as this one, someone should definitely suspect foul play. Or maybe it wasn't a jinx after all, but Jessica's impressive amount of charm and sex appeal manifesting itself in a not-so-happy way. You see, Jess and papa Joe were in the crowd watching, and the camera penned to Jessica loads of times, so maybe the Eagles players were simply in awe of her beauty and many charms and decided to win the lady's hand by winning... well, not a jousting tournament but the game. So maybe the joke's on Tony Romo after all. I'm afraid I can't give you a definitive answer yet, but I promise to investigate the matters closely and keep you up to speed. After all, this is a problem of national importance. If Jessica Simpson is ruining football, something must be done about it - and fast!
