14 DAY TRIAL // Jessica Simpson and fiancé Eric Johnson are expecting their first child together, reports say. While the star is yet to issue a confirmation of this, an eyewitness says that, beyond any doubt, Jessica is with child.
Life & Style magazine tracked down a fellow diner who says that she has no doubt that Jessica is pregnant, since, on a recent outing, she ate for two and abstained from alcohol altogether.
Granted, it’s not proper confirmation but it’s still something to go on, especially for those fans who are dying to see the star as a brand new mommy.
A couple of days ago, Jessica and Eric went out for dinner in LA, at the BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse in Century City, and she acted very much like a pregnant lady, the eyewitness reveals for the celebrity publication.
“I definitely think she’s pregnant,” says the spy. She claims to have seen Jess “wolf down chicken-fried steak (which is 2,084 calories, according to the restaurant’s menu), a pizza and a ‘pizookie’ (a big chocolate-chip-cookie dessert clocking in at 887 calories).”
Even more telling was the fact that the star completely abstained from alcohol, drinking only water throughout the entire meal.
“She ordered a ton of food. She has to be pregnant. She didn’t have any alcohol to drink, either,” the eyewitness says.
“There looked to be a cocktail on the table, but I didn’t see her drink it. She was sipping a Perrier and nibbling off her fiancé’s plate – the cocktail was obviously Eric’s,” the spy further says.
For the past year or so, Jessica has often been plagued by pregnancy rumors, mostly generated by her weight gain, which she tried to hide by wearing loose and sometimes unflattering clothes.
However, last week, as we also informed you, several reports claimed that she was undoubtedly pregnant because she was sporting a baby bump and there were several “insiders” to confirm it.
All this time, Jessica is keeping mum on the topic.
