Hunky bad boy Jared Leto is said to be dating just-divorced Jessica Simpson. The two were spotted flirting at a party in a nightclub in Los Angeles, and a friend of Jared's told the press that they are actually, quote, 'an item'.

The two met on July 2 and actor/rocker Leto managed to get Jessica's phone number. Later, they hooked up and were seen all over each other.

On the other hand, both stars' PRs deny rumors of a recent love affair. Simpson's spokesperson continues to claim that the artist is single and intends to remain so for a little more while, in preparation for her oncoming tour and movie.
