Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake’s romance caught the eye of the media even before the two stars came out and admitted they were dating, so perhaps the chance of seeing them together in a movie would be an interesting prospect. Speaking with
Parade magazine, Biel admits she would love to star in a movie with Justin, but when and if that’s going to happen is yet to be seen.
In the meanwhile, the actress explains, she’s still struggling to get industry big-shots to give her a fair chance when it comes to movie offers because, as far as she’s concerned, she’s willing to give it her best shot to make it work. Still, should the opportunity of starring in a quality movie next to her boyfriend come along, she would not say no to it; on the contrary, she would jump at the opportunity, Biel explains.
“If it was the right thing, yeah. I would love to co-star with Justin. I just don’t know what the right thing is, though.” Jessica says for Parade. However, this is not the first thing on her priorities list, the actress admits, as she’s still having a hard time finding movie parts that really bring out the best in her. If the industry were not so
blindsighted by her looks and perhaps some poor choices she also made along the way, then perhaps she too would get the chance to show what she is capable of in terms of acting, Biel says.
“I am constantly searching for roles that are hard, that are going to literally scare me to death. But it’s tough to get them. Sometimes I can’t even get in the room to audition. I want my time in court to be able to go, ‘This is what I’ve got. You don’t want it? Fine, that’s cool. I understand that. But at least let me have a shot’.” the star adds.
In the same interview with Parade, Jessica Biel also explains why she and Justin are usually so media-shy, saying that they rather hang out together and do stuff regular couples do than attend fancy and paparazzi-infested parties. On the same note, she says she has also discovered the importance of having friends who are not in any way connected with showbiz, because they help her stay grounded and not forget where she came from.
