Some time ago, Jessica Biel did a movie called “Powder Blue,” which went straight to DVD and was trashed by critics. Even though the film only got attention for the scenes in which Biel was wearing very few clothes, she says she'd do it again. The film, which also stars the late Patrick Swayze, has Biel playing a stripper. As expected, there are countless scenes in the film to illustrate that, which is mostly why people paid attention to it in the first place.
In a recent interview cited by
Monsters And Critics, the actress says having people focusing solely on that was “brutal.”
Still, she wouldn't say no to taking it all off for the camera again, if the timing and the project were right.
“It’s unfortunate,” she says of the way people reacted to the film. “It was brutal for a while. There was so much more that we put into it,” she adds.
“I wasn’t so scarred by the experience that I wouldn’t do it again. If a director I trusted came to me with an amazing opportunity and it felt organic, I would do it,” Biel further says of the possibility of doing a similar role in the future.
For the time being though, Jessica has been busy with other projects, which mostly have her wearing plenty of clothing.
For instance, she's doing “Total Recall” with Collin Farrell, a remake of the 1990 original with Arnold Schwarzenegger as the lead.
From what she's saying, it's a wonderful opportunity to remind her why she loves being an actress so much.
“The other day, Colin and I were in our harnesses, hoisted up 30 feet in the air, looking down saying, 'Holy [expletive]! This is crazy',” she says in the same interview.
“The adrenaline rush of that was explosive. We hit the bottom, looked at each other and burst into giggles. That was an I-love-my-job moment,” Jessica further explains.
