Theirs was the most expensive celebrity wedding in recent years, partly because they flew all guests via private jet to a luxury resort in Italy for a week of celebrations. Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are now at the center of a huge media storm because of footage shown at the ceremony.

It was never meant to come out in the press but that doesn’t excuse the fact that it was made in the first place, especially since it makes fun of homeless and apparently mentally ill people.

Gawker got their hands on the entire clip, posting a few seconds from it online. Follow the link to see it.

The video was meant as a joke to be shown during the ceremony, but there’s something terribly disturbing about it, as the aforementioned publication also notes.

“The 8:30 video featured street interviews with ten people, many of them obviously homeless, premised on the idea that they were friends of Timberlake and Biel's who, for whatever reason, couldn't quite swing the trip to the Borgo Egnazia resort in Puglia for the nuptials, which were reported to cost $6.5 million [€4.99 million],” Gawker writes.

“‘Greetings from Your Hollywood Friends Who Just Couldn't Make It,’ reads the opening title card, ‘Featuring Sid, Chuck, Robert, and More!’ Sid, Chuck, Robert, and others appear to be penniless and living on the street. Some of them are obviously intoxicated, mentally ill, or both, and at least one of them is entirely incapable of speaking,” the publication further notes.

The video was made by LA real estate agent Justin Huchel, who is also a longtime friend of Justin’s.

Gawker doesn’t say how they got their hands on the clip and whether they plan to release it in full, but attorneys for Timberlake have already contacted the publication to threaten legal action.

Their line is that the video was not meant for public viewing and, more importantly, that it was done without Justin’s knowledge, hence it says nothing about him as a person.

“Mr. Huchel made [the] video to be used and exhibited privately at Justin Timberlake's wedding as a private joke without Mr. Timberlake's knowledge,” reads a cease and desist letter asking for the video to be pulled down.

The leak of the video comes just hours after the first photos of Justin and Jessica’s wedding were published in People magazine, thus confirming that it was, indeed, a fairytale-like event.
