Lance Bass proposed to his boyfriend Michael Turchin in September this year, and they are currently planning their wedding for October 2014. Though there’s still plenty of time until the happy day, Lance is grateful for whatever help he can get, especially if it comes from Jessica Biel.

Jessica, as you probably know, is married to former N’Sync member Justin Timberlake. Justin and Lance were in the hit boyband together and, according to Lance himself, they’re still very close.

Earlier this month, they all came together at Chris Kirkpatrick’s wedding to Karly Skladany and, as Lance explains, the topic of his nuptials also came up. Jessica was more than happy to help with several tips.

“I’m so glad I went to Chris’ wedding because I forgot about some of my old management company people. And then we were sitting there talking to Jessie Biel, too, and she gave us a lot of great pointers. And she had some really great ideas,” Lance says for Us Weekly.

One of those great ideas was about the type of invite they should send out.

“One really cool idea she had was that, on the invites – because we love our onesies – send out personalized onesies to all our guests so that at midnight after the reception it turns into a pajama party. How fun would that be? I think we might be doing that one. That was something we both loved,” he explains.

These are all the details he’s ready to reveal right now because, he says, they’re just getting started with the planning. Everything is coming along “slowly but surely,” with the star saying the most likely date is for October.

“But it’s a lot. It sure is a lot,” Bass adds, still talking about the wedding planning.

In the same interview, Lance also talks a bit about how it was like to spend time again with his N’Sync mates, explaining how they’re still acting like they’re 16 and getting a laugh out of every little stupid thing, including fart jokes.
