The actress auctions a date with herself

The '7th Heaven' star and the 'most sexy woman alive' in 2005 is trying to raise money for a young girl who lost her leg on her prom night during a car accident. The auction will take place this Tuesday at the Rock Island Club in Denver.

The event is called 'Molly Palooza', in celebration of the 18-year-old teenager Molly Bloom who, a little while ago, was dragged almost 40 feet by a Hummer stretch limousine and had to undergo surgery and amputation of a leg.

Bloom's family was soon overwhelmed by the enormous medical and hospital bills and thought of talking to the star about some financial help. Jessica said yes almost instantly and offered a date with herself for the highest bidder.

The driver responsible for the accident faces only a misdemeanor charge of careless driving resulting in serious bodily injuries.

Unfortunately, for those interested, the actress won't attend the fund raiser ceremony, as she is currently on location filming her latest movie, 'Next'. And the date isn't exactly a romantic date, but more a lunch meeting. Nevertheless, this doesn't change the fact that it's a very grand gesture, especially coming from a movie star.
