Some women struggle for a long time to lose the pregnancy weight (or any kind of extra weight, for that matter), but not Jessica Alba. Just 5 months after giving birth to her second child, the actress is looking in top shape.

Shortly after Christmas, Alba and her adorable family (husband Cash Warren and their two daughters) went away for some R&R in Cabo San Lucas.

Since the paparazzi appear to be everywhere these days, they were also there, and were able to snap Alba by the pool and at the beach.

To say that she looks in top shape is somewhat of an understatement, as the Daily Mail also points out.

“Without a stretch mark or a dimple in sight, Jessica is a freak of nature for snapping back into shape so quickly. She appeared to want to work off the post-holiday excess and played a ball game in the pool,” the British tab writes.

“The 30-year-old showed off her slender curves outside her holiday villa, accompanied by husband Cash Warren, Haven and their eldest daughter Honor, three,” adds the same publication.

However, since the saying goes that a picture is worth a thousand words, here are photos from Alba's beach outing, if you don't believe us that she's really looking her best, even so quickly after giving birth.

In a recent interview, the actress was asked how she managed to bounce back in shape after pregnancy, as we also reported at the time.

She explained that the second time was much easier because she already had some experience and had learned not to overindulge while still carrying.

It wasn't easy, though.

“With Haven I didn’t gain as much, so [afterward] I was closer to where I felt comfortable in my own skin,” she said.

Her favorite calorie-burning activities include working out with her husband and, of course, playing with the kids.
