Jessica Alba Is Not Fooling Around

A couple of days ago, word got out that gorgeous actress Jessica Alba ditched her boyfriend of two years (and some spare change), in the most brutal manner. Allegedly, the 'Sin City' star gave Cash Warren (whom she had met on the set of the first 'Fantastic 4' movie, where he was working as one of the producer's assistants) the big news over the phone, either in order to avoid a confrontation or because, as some speculated, she was nothing but a cold-hearted woman.

The unlikely couple lasted for quite a long time, to the surprise both of the media and of the entire male population of the globe. While Jessica kept giving interviews and talking about how open she was to one-night stands and no strings attached sex, Cash was quietly waiting for her at the home the two shared in Los Angeles. When Jessica simply realized that she no longer had feelings for Cash, she just called him up and told him that 'I don't love you anymore'. Next day, he was already out of the house and all his stuff was packed and out in the street.

Well, if you really thought that breaking up in this way was a very cold thing for Jessica to do, you might want to rethink that. According to the latest rumors, not only was Jess more than patient with Cash, but she even tried to patch things up. And, to cap it all off, she broke everything off because of him and not because there was another guy in the picture, as his friends speculated. To be more precise, Miss Alba wanted things to become more serious, she wanted to get married to Cash and he simply wasn't ready for that big a step.

'[Cash] wasn't ready for marriage, and Jessica is. It's simple as that. It's kind of cold that the press is saying she was just finished with him, because it isn't like that.', one source told the media today. By the looks of things, Jessica got the sudden urge to hear her own wedding bells when she attended friend Eva Longoria's fancy nuptials a couple of weeks ago. Says the same source: 'Seeing Eva get married made Jessica wistful. That was the reason Jessica seemed to be in a terrible mood in Paris.'

Well, duh! Of course Jessica Alba couldn't have simply been so rude and cruel! On the other hand, I could think of a couple of things to say about Cash and his refusal to get hitched with the woman who has been repeatedly named the sexiest woman on the face of this planet, but I'll just bite my tongue instead. *evil smile*
