Actress Jessica Alba is a mommy again. The star gave birth over the weekend to her second child, also a baby girl whom she and husband Cash Warren named Haven Garner. Confirmation comes from Alba herself.

Since she broke the happy news to her fans on Facebook, telling them directly that she was pregnant with her second child, it’s also on Facebook that Alba announces the arrival of the newest member of her family.

It’s a girl and she’s in perfect health, the gorgeous actress writes. She’s named Haven Garner Cash, and big sister Honor is thrilled that she finally has a sibling to watch over.

“Hi Everyone, Hope you’re enjoying the weekend. Cash and I are so excited to announce the birth of our daughter, Haven Garner Warren,” the happy new mom writes on her page.

“She was born on Saturday, weighed 7lbs, and was 19 inches long. Healthy and happy! Big Sister Honor couldn’t be more excited about the new addition to our family,” Jessica gushes.

She doesn’t forget to thank her fans for being there for her throughout the pregnancy, just like they did the first time around.

“Thank you for all of your support during my pregnancy. It means the world to me,” Alba adds.

In a recent interview for Lucky magazine, Jessica revealed that bouncing back in shape after giving birth was one of the hardest things she did in her life, which meant she wasn’t exactly looking forward for her second time around.

Though staying healthy remained her priority, Jessica did have to cut back on food to such an extent that she came to think she was “starving,” had to push herself to work out for hours on end daily, and had to wear girdles for months after giving birth, she said.

“It sucks,” she said, eventually admitting that, while the journey there wasn’t the most pleasant, the results were definitely extraordinary.
