14 DAY TRIAL // Actress Jessica Alba got ahead of all tabloids and paparazzi looking for a good story and announced that she is pregnant with her second child on her Facebook page. Further details are not available at the moment.
Jessica, who married Cash Warren in 2008 after dating him for about 4 years, has another daughter, Honor, who was delivered at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles in June 2008.
In her announcement, Jessica says Honor is thrilled about the idea of becoming a big sister in a few months’ time.
“It’s been a while since I’ve been on FB & I thought I’d drop by to let you all in on some exciting news>Honor is going to be a Big Sister!” Jessica wrote on Facebook.
The idea of making the announcement on the website came after realizing they didn’t want the news to end in the tabloid press before they got the chance of going public with it.
“Cash and I are thrilled and wanted to share the news directly with you so you didn’t hear about it somewhere else,” the star explains.
“I appreciated all of the love and support you all gave me during my first pregnancy and will definitely appreciate it again this time around. Have a great day! Jess,” she concludes her message with.
Last time Jessica did a magazine interview, she stressed that, regardless of how her career goes, her family would always come first, because she had found in motherhood and family life a sense of fulfillment she hadn’t discovered anywhere else.
At the same time, Alba revealed that she considered Honor’s birth as a milestone for a new life for her, the perfect time to make changes and improve all those things that she didn’t like about herself and her life until then.
“My husband and my daughter are my world. Together we want to build a truly loving and beautiful family. I’m very traditional in that sense. When Honor was born, I also felt that it was a good time to change many things,” she said, as we also informed you at the time.
“I was always the type of woman who tried to please other people and do everything right. Putting that kind of pressure on yourself isn’t healthy for you in the long run. It wears you down,” Alba added.
