To promote his book “American Outlaw,” Jesse James is finally opening up and talking in more detail about his marriage to Sandra Bullock and the events that led to its demise. Apparently, he felt boxed in, as if he was supposed to be a different person than he is.

As we also noted a couple of days ago, in a recent radio interview with Howard Stern, James revealed that he believed Kat Von D, his fiancée, was better in bed than his ex, Sandra Bullock.

Us Magazine notes that this wasn’t the only revelation that James made: he also said that he never believed the Oscar-winning actress actually loved him and that he was supposed to constantly act like he was an entirely different person.

Speaking of Sandra’s acceptance speech at the Oscars in 2010, right before his cheating ways were revealed in an explosive interview by one of his mistresses, James said he doubted Sandra’s truthfulness.

“I always felt like any moment that rug was going to be yanked out. Yeah, she could stand there in front of the world and say she loved me, but in my mind I was thinking, yeah bull[expletive]...You don’t love me,” he told Stern.

He didn’t necessarily believe Sandra was a liar, he tried to explain. He rather thought himself unworthy of the love of a woman like her.

On the other hand, he always felt like he had to act a certain way because of the fact that he was married to Bullock – and that wasn’t necessarily in accordance to who he really was.

“I’m one of those dudes that like, ‘Hey, somebody owes me money. Cool, I’m going to knock their teeth out until they pay me.’ But all of a sudden I couldn't do stuff like that before, because then it would become about Sandy,” James told Stern, as per the aforementioned publication.

“Everything would have a reflection on her... All of a sudden I had to kind of live in this certain perception so no one got embarrassed and no one’s movie was affected,” he added.

Now, one year after his marriage ended in one of the biggest media scandals in showbiz, Jesse James is happy again, almost unbelievably so, he stressed: he’s engaged to Kat and he can’t wait to start his new life with her.
