Jesse James is back on TV, on Discovery's “American Chopper,” for a 2-episode appearance. In one of the episodes that sees him pitted against Paul Teutul Sr. and Paul Teutul Jr., James also talks a bit about his ex-wife, in terms that are guaranteed to upset her fans.

It's common knowledge that Jesse's marriage to Sandra Bullock went bust when a tattoo model went to the press to talk about the affair she's been having with him for quite some time.

The scandal that followed only brought more stories of the kind to light, from various women eager to go on the record about the star's womanizing ways.

Since then, James has been keeping a low profile but has still managed to slip one or two subtle disses about Sandra, saying she tried to transform him into someone else and that he felt “trapped” in the marriage.

He says the same in the Discovery episodes, while implying that people made a big fuss over nothing because Bullock is not even that big of a star, Radar Online informs.

“I became a big shot and married some Hollywood actress and didn’t talk to anybody anymore, so I feel bad,” James says in the clip.

The “some Hollywood actress” reference is bound to rile fans, since this is no regular actress: Sandra Bullock is an Oscar winner who is often referred to in the press as “America's darling.”

As for why Jesse accepted the offer to return to bike building on Discovery, he says his motivation was to be found in wanting to remind the world who he truly was.

“I feel obligated to reconnect with all these people and show ‘em that I’m still the same fabricator motorcycle guy. I’m not what I became,” he says.

“It’s not clear if James is blaming Bullock for 'what he became,' but their marriage imploded over revelations he’d had numerous affairs,” Radar punctuates.

Because he claims he wants people to know him for his bike skills, below is a video of Jesse James working on what is called a “middle-finger” bike. It's actually a preview for “American Chopper.”
