Report suggests Jesse James may have cheated on Sandra Bullock with Kat Von D, back in 2007

Jesse James and Kat Von D announced their engagement a few days ago. Amidst talk that they’re planning to wed as soon as February, a new report comes to offer a possible explanation for why the rush: they’ve actually been together for longer than they said.

The latest print issue of Us Weekly (story via here) has a piece according to which James may actually have been romantically involved with Kat ever since 2007, when the both of them were still married.

The article in question doesn’t suggest that they were cheating on their spouses at the time, but it leaves plenty of room for interpretation in this sense.

Back in 2007, Kat was featured in one of the magazines James owned, Garage Magazine, as the Garage Girl – and they bonded since that moment.

“Jesse has been obsessed with Kat for years. It was an open secret, even to Sandra,” a source says for Us. After she posed for the mag, Jesse threw her a party in Austin, the mag adds.

“Soon, Von D started hanging around the bike shop. James shortly named her a spokeswoman for the WCC clothing line and she posed for ads, and ex-employees say she was a regular visitor,” Us writes.

Jesse even told Sandra repeatedly that Kat was his “dream girl,” but she never took it for more than a harmless crush, so she did not feel threatened in any way by their friendship.

“Jesse always considered Kat his dream woman, and he even talked about it in front of Sandra! But Sandra never worried. Kat was the girl Jesse was allowed to have a jokey crush on. Sandra thought Jesse was in love with her, his wife, and never figured Jesse would do anything about Kat,” another source says.

However, another spy from the Bullock camp believes Jesse James and Kat Von D were in an affair from back then – and they only waited for the cheating scandal to blow over to go public, Us writes.
