14 DAY TRIAL // A few months ago, former “Jersey Shore” star Angelina Pivarnick confirmed that she was pregnant with her first child. She’s lost the baby and believes the miscarriage was prompted by too much pressure on her in the media, she says in a new interview.
In a preview clip for the syndicated “Father Albert Show” obtained by E! Online, Angelina reveals she’s no longer pregnant and states her belief that the miscarriage was mostly due to stress because of too much media attention.
Contrary to what people may make of her, she did not want word of her pregnancy to get out when it did, because she wanted to keep that just for herself and her fiancé.
“Everyone in the tabloids and media weren’t really leaving me alone about it... Basically I wanted it to be my personal business, and it really wasn’t,” Angelina says on the show.
Eventually, all this pressure stemming from too much media attention and, most importantly, criticism, got the best of her and she lost the baby.
“It was really hard because it came out and I really didn’t want anyone to know about it at first. I went through a lot of stress, and I ended up losing the baby,” she explains.
When Father Albert presses her to clarify whether she believes the media is responsible for her miscarriage, Angelina says so directly but adds that there was something more as well.
"Definitely... And even the guy, he wasn’t there for me either. So that was a big thing,” the reality star says.
“He wasn’t there for me... he was tormenting me... and it was definitely a big reason why I think what happened to me, happened to me. It was definitely a reality check,” she adds.
Pivarnick is most likely referring to her fiancé Dave Kovacs, whom she named as the father of the baby when confirming her pregnancy in April this year, as we also informed you at the time.
Back then, the two were supposed to be married in a few months’ time but, from what Angelina is saying now, it looks like the wedding is off for good.
