Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Jon Stewart, Lewis Black, Bill Maher, Dennis Miller, Larry David and Garry Shandling will be among the stars invited at the inaugural edition of The Comedy Festival, which will take place November 17-19 in Las Vegas.
HBO and AEG organizers declared that Jerry Seinfeld will be honored with the first annual The Comedian award, and the ceremony will be hosted by CNN's Anderson Cooper.
The show will feature more than 50 performances in live stand-up, sketch comedy and film, as well as special events and screenings, at Caesars Palace and the Flamingo Las Vegas.
David Chappelle will return to the spotlight by closing the show Saturday, organizers said. Chapelle, who disappeared during production of the third season of Comedy Central's Chappelle's Show, declared he's excited about this project.
