The 47-year old actress, who started playing poker a year ago, became the first winner of both the World Poker Tour Ladies Night III tournament and World Series` Ladies World Poker Championship
Jenifer Tilly is thrilled that the Ladies Night win at the Bicycle Casino Thursday proved her World Series win in June was 'no fluke.'
'I felt like I was suffering from the `imposter syndrome,`' Tilly said in a news release. 'I had these niggling self-doubts. But now I know I can really play. These women were extremely tough pros with blood lust at the poker table. My goal has always been to win a World Poker Tour event and now I`ve done it!', the actress added.
According to an officials statement issued by the World Poker Tour, Tilly earned a seat in the $25,000 buy-in World Poker Tour Championship next April at Bellagio in Las Vegas.
The WPT Ladies Night III tourney will air Oct. 22 on the Travel Channel.
Meanwhile, the actress will next be seen in a new CBS sitcom 'Out of Practice' with Henry Winkler, due to air this fall.
