There was a time when Jennifer Love Hewitt’s dating record and bad breakups history could easily rival those of pop country singer Taylor Swift, but that’s only because she hadn’t come across her perfect man just yet.

Now married and a mother to a 4-month-old baby girl, Jennifer is ready to come back into the spotlight and, from her new interview with Ellen DeGeneres, we can easily conclude that she’s at her happiest. A segment of the interview is embedded below.

You will also see that Jennifer is sporting a summery, much lighter ‘do than she did during the pregnancy, when she went completely dark and even got very chic bangs. Today, she’s a blonde with darker highlights and she’s grown out her bangs or, at the very least, she’s keeping them hidden.

She’s actually very cute in deflecting Ellen’s question about how she’s changed, by joking that, this time, she buttoned her shirt all the way up.

While she’s not very eager to talk about her new hairdo (which suits her wonderfully, it must be said), Jennifer is happy to gush about her husband and their daughter. She married Brian Hallisay, with whom she starred on “The Client List,” “like five days” before Autumn was born.

The ceremony was small, and they didn’t make much of a fuss about it; in fact, Jennifer laughed, after exchanging vows, she and Brian went to Bed, Bath & Beyond because “that’s what married couples do.”

“He’s an awesome, incredible father and a great husband, and I just feel really lucky,” Jennifer gushes.

As for her baby girl, Jennifer believes she’ll grow up to be a dancer: she loves Drake and Pharrell, and she does the dougie whenever Ellen’s theme show song comes up.

“The second the show comes on and you start dancing, she does this weird kick thing with her leg, and she gets her little chair. I think she’s gonna be a dancer. I really do. She loves it…” she explains.

Jennifer is literally beaming with joy, and this interview will probably make her even more popular with her fans, for being so incredibly down to earth and relatable. Perhaps it will also serve her financial interests, as her Ellen appearance was meant to promote her maternity fashion line with A Pea in the Pod, which was released in Los Angeles the other night.

Check out the interview and – it goes without saying – enjoy.
