14 DAY TRIAL // Jennifer Lopez is still married to Marc Anthony, at least on paper. Currently dating backup dancer Casper Smart, the singer is already making plans for when the divorce becomes final because she wants to start a family with Casper asap.
The latest print issue of Us Weekly (story via CB) claims that Jennifer is rushing to make the relationship with her much younger boyfriend official.
She's also desperate to have a child with him and is obviously trying to make all this happen as soon as possible, a source who claims to be well in the know tells the mag.
“Lopez, 42, 'is telling friends she wants to marry Casper,' a confidant tells Us. And she can barely wait until October, the earliest her divorce from Marc Anthony, 43, could be official,” the celebrity publication writes.
Once married to Casper, Jennifer wants to get pregnant immediately, fearing she might not get another chance.
“Frankly, she doesn’t have all the time in the world. She’s [also] certain she wants to be with Casper forever,” the insider is quoted as saying.
She and Smart are so in love and devoted to one another that they feel there's no reason in the world to put off the wedding for much longer.
Deep down, they know they will be together for ever.
At the moment, Casper has moved in with her and the kids in her LA mansion, and is also becoming involved in aspects of her career, even sitting in on her business meetings – though he doesn't intervene just yet.
“He provides what she hasn’t had in years. He’s very supportive and devoted. She wants to have a traditional family. She loves how playful he is with [the kids],” the insider adds.
After coming out of the marriage with Marc Anthony, who was reportedly very controlling, Jennifer relishes that “now she's in control,” notes the source.
