14 DAY TRIAL // Things are getting more tense between former spouses Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, new reports claim. Casper Smart, Jlo's 24-year-old boyfriend is still the cause of all the friction because the couple's twins call him “daddy.”
For weeks now, the tabloids have been going crazy with speculation on the state of the relationship between Marc and Jennifer, especially since she made no secret of her romance with Smart, who works as her backup dancer and is much younger than her.
Fresh reports suggest that the diva is very generous towards the new man in her life, including offering him a weekly allowance and letting him drive her most expensive cars.
Even more recent reports claim that Smart is such a fixture in Jennifer's life that her kids are already calling him “daddy,” which totally enraged Marc when he found out, The National Enquirer says in its latest print issue (story via here).
“While staying with their famous father recently, Marc and Jennifer’s 3-year-old twins, Emme and Max, referred to J.Lo’s 24-year-old backup dancer beau, Casper Smart, as 'Daddy Casper,' say sources,” the tab writes.
Anthony didn't expect for things between the two to have evolved at such rapid pace. He knew Smart was spending times with his kids but he never imagined they were already so familiar with him as to call him “dad.”
Consequently, he rang Jennifer up to let her have a piece of his mind.
“An enraged Marc immediately called Jennifer and blasted her, telling her that if she didn’t fix the situation pronto, he was going to let the kids call his new girlfriend, 24-year-old Venezuelan model Shannon De Lima, 'Mommy Shannon'!” the report notes.
“Marc mockingly told Jennifer that if Casper wants to be called 'Daddy,' he needs to start acting like it and pay some of their children’s expenses instead of just sponging off of her! Jennifer freaked out and told Marc he was childish, but she promised to correct the situation,” the spy says of how the conversation between the two played out.
As noted above, speculation about the two and the relationships they have embarked on post-split has been rampant in the more recent weeks. Neither Jennifer nor Marc has commented on the rumors in any way.
