While people are freaking out that Beyonce may have lip-synced her way through the National Anthem at the 2013 Presidential Inauguration, Jennifer Lopez is talking some sense into them: it happens, it really is no big deal.

The star is now promoting her brand new movie, “Parker,” an action film starring Jason Statham, so she stopped by Jon Stewart on the Daily Show to talk about it.

Obviously, the first question he asked her is whether she ever lip-synced like Beyonce in one of her concerts.

“Sometimes it happens. When you're in certain stadiums and in certain venues and stuff, they do pre-record things because you're gonna have that terrible slapback,” JLo told Stewart.

“All performers do have to do it at some point,” she added, coming to Beyonce’s defense.
