Jennifer Lopez is at odds with her own mother, Guadalupe Lopez, because of her affair with 24-year-old backup dancer Casper Smart. Taking a fling on a family holiday could end up hurting Jlo's kids with Marc Anthony even more, Guadalupe believes. Guadalupe and Jennifer are very close. In fact, they actually live together, with Guadalupe moving in to help out with the twins, Jennifer's 3-year children with ex husband Marc Anthony.
Naturally, Guadalupe has nothing against Jennifer seeing other people after the split, but she does feel very strongly about her taking her new boytoy on a family holiday, Star Magazine claims in the latest print issue (story via

also reported shortly ago, JLo and Casper Smart, her backup dancer slash boyfriend, went on holiday in Hawaii over Thanksgiving.
Lopez's children were also there and it was this that sent Guadalupe into a fury.
“A source close to the singer tells Star that Guadalupe is 'devastated' over Jen dating such a young man so soon after her split from Marc – and she’s cut off contact with her A-list daughter!” Star claims.
“Guadalupe has become very upset with what she says is Jennifer’s poor judgment. They’re not on speaking terms at the moment,” an unnamed source well familiar with the situation says for the celebrity publication.
As the mother sees it, introducing the kids to the new man in Jennifer's love life is a very bad idea, especially so soon after the split from Anthony.
“The kids are struggling to understand what’s happened with their father and mother. Then, all of a sudden, there is a new father figure in their life,” the spy says of the Hawaii break they all took a short while ago.
Until Jennifer doesn't realize this, her own mother won't be speaking to her, the report seems to imply.
