Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony tried hard to get pregnant, but the long wait was worth it, the singer has repeatedly said in various interviews after giving birth to twins. Of course, that’s not to say that she wouldn’t want to expand her family even more, as JLo admits to Entertainment Tonight that she would love to have more babies, even if she has no concrete plans for that just yet.

The singer and actress is now promoting the romantic comedy “The Back-up Plan,” where she plays a woman who turns to IVF in order to have a baby, having come to the conclusion that Mr. Right would never appear in her life. Making plans in this sense is never a good idea, Lopez explains to ET, adding that she would personally love it if she and Marc were to be blessed with one or more children. However, she doesn’t want to plan for it because that’s not how things work, to put it simply.

“I want more babies,” Lopez tells ET when asked about whether she could identify in any way with the character she plays in the much-mediated romcom. “That's the whole subject of the movie – you can't plan your life. As much as you would like to say, ‘This is what I want to do and this is how I want to do it, and by this time and it's all going to be perfect,'’that's not really life, you know? That's not really how it is. You have to just be willing to go with what happens,” the star says.

As much as she’d like to have more babies, for the time being, Lopez has her hands full with twins Emme and Max. “They just love people, and they love music, and they love laughing and running around. They're very well adjusted to this life; they know nothing else… It's like traveling, dancing, singing, sets - that's their life. They kind of get, like, this is what we do,” Lopez adds, gushing about the pleasures of seeing her two children grow up.

Directed by Alan Poul and starring, besides Lopez, Eric Christian Olsen, “The Back-up Plan” is scheduled for theatrical release in the US on April 23, 2010.
