Jennifer Lopez Turns Dominatrix

And she's into some pretty strange kicks if you ask me

Looking good...keep those prayers going, boys!

Jennifer Lopez just finished shooting her new video for her brand new comeback song "Do It Well". And since the director is none other than famous David LaChapelle, expect something kinky, provocative and filled with controversial images. And since the video is set in a kinky club, expect to be shocked and stunned by some pretty strong visuals.

The story goes like this. J. Lo's son (yeah, I know, frightening perspective) who is about six is being held hostage in a club where people engage in all sorts of rather frightening sexually deviant behaviors. So supermom turned dominatrix goes in and tries to save him. OK, this sounds downright bizarre. It's like the answer to a whole lot of prayers uttered out there. I mean, I know most guys have spent long sleepless nights imagining Jenny dressed in just strips of leather (see photo - and prepare to be stunned) doing...well, better not get into the whole sexual fantasy thing as I'm not sure there's enough web space to host all of that. The fact is, J. Lo turns mean and searches for the little brat in loads of rooms that look like they would do much better left untouched. And boy, does she stumble on some major S/M.

While David LaChapelle has a history of giving free reign to the hidden cravings of the human mind (check out some of his photo works HERE) , I personally believe he's pushing it a bit too far. Not with the whole S/M club thing, but with placing Lopez in such a strange context. Is it aimed to shock? Mock itself? Destroy and reshape J. Lo's "good girl" image? Maybe exacerbate her sexuality and underline the fact that she's become more mature and self-confident?

All these are questions for the ages, really, but I have to admit the whole thing looks sexy as hell - up to the point where it unfortunately blends in some pretty clich� images that make it look like a remake of Christina Aguillera's "Dirrty". I've been trying to tell myself that it's purposefully kitsch and aims to shock. Well, it sure does. I mean, if you don't find shocking the image of a man dressed in nothing but a leather mouse mask and underpants, stretched on a bed that's made to look like a giant mousetrap then either you or I have some serious issues that are better left unchallenged at the moment. The end is equally unsettling - Lopez finds the brat, who refuses to come home with her. And while I'm sure there's some dark symbolism into that as well, I think it's best if you just take the whole thing to be some sort of surrealistic nightmare/vision and focus on the music. And then we'll talk some more.
