Diva Jennifer Lopez was so touched by the devastating images shown by media and TV, especially by a woman carrying a plank of wood, that she decided to donate money to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Jennifer, 36, also attended the Saturday's MTV telethon, React Now, to raise money for Katrina victims and urged people to donate money for the evacuees.

She says: "There was one of these ladies and all of a sudden she runs to a piece of wood and is, like: 'This is from our bedroom�'

That's� the only thing that you have to hang onto from your life."
