Jennifer Lopez Thinks She's “Very Lucky” to Have Met Casper Smart

After going public with her decision to divorce Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez started dating a 24-year-old backup dancer, Casper Smart. They're still going strong, and new reports claim she believes she's “lucky” to have found him.

As per recent rumors, Jennifer is already thinking about tying the knot again, despite the fact that all her friends warned her the romance was just a rebound fling that would soon end.

A source close to her tells People that she's not even considering marriage again, not at this point. She is, however, deeply in love – as is Casper too.

“Jennifer thinks she is very lucky to have met Casper. He is everything that Marc wasn’t: kind, supportive, appreciative… There is a lot of love between [them]. He treats her like a queen,” says an insider.

As if all that wasn't enough, Casper is also great with Jennifer and Marc's two children. They've often been pictured together as a family on beach outings.

“He is great with Max and Emme and genuinely cares about them,” the insider adds.

In a separate magazine, Jennifer's on and off manager Benny Medina talks about her most recent unlikely romance, saying she was “fertile ground” when she met Casper, as Radar Online can confirm.

“The thing that I always sort of wished is that she would give herself time to just naturally meet someone, instead of having obsessive guys pursue her… The ease with which that obsession becomes a relationship I think sometimes works against her ability to have a real meaningful relationship,” Medina tells the latest issue of Vogue.

He explains that Jennifer herself didn't consider the age factor when she started seeing Casper. She's 42, he's 24.

“It’s not even the age, Benny,” she reportedly told him.

“It’s actually that I just came out of a relationship where I felt like I was kind of not getting what I needed. And I’m open! So somebody who steps in right now and is actually touching me in a way – it’s very fertile ground!” Jennifer shared.

Regardless of the negative reports in the press, JLo's fans have long spoken on the romance: as long as she's happy, it doesn't even matter who the guy is.
