14 DAY TRIAL // And they say, you can’t have a civil breakup in Hollywood. Pop diva Jennifer Lopez and her former beau, backup dancer Casper Smart, are looking to prove all those who believe that wrong by making plans to jet off to some exotic location for a “family” vacation, it has emerged.
In case you haven’t been keeping up with the latest developments in celebrities’ private life, we should note that the two broke up earlier this year after over 2 years together, amid claims that he tried to cheat on her with a couple of transgender models he’d picked up online.

This was the first transgender cheating scandal to rock showbiz this year, but even though it carried much promise for the tabloids, it fizzled in a matter of weeks, when it became clear that Jennifer Lopez would not get involved in any way in it.
When the models came forward to tell their stories to the weeklies, Smart had his attorney sue them for libel, but also issued a statement to say that all their claims were lies intended to make them rich and famous, if only for 15 minutes.
At the time, Lopez was out of the country on work, so she was able to avoid all unwanted media attention – and not say anything about the cheating allegations. Some weeks later, she casually mentioned in a TV interview that she and Casper were not together anymore, but she didn’t say why.

“Jennifer wanted to go somewhere where they could just relax in private with the kids. Casper is totally into the idea of taking a vacation with Jennifer. They are really comfortable around each other,” adds the spy.
Casper remains close to Jennifer’s twins with Marc Anthony
During their 2 years together, Casper built a very strong bond with Jennifer’s twins with ex-husband Marc Anthony, Emme and Max, and she doesn’t want to ruin that for them. This was the main reason she asked him to tag along in the first place, the report mentions – but the fact that they get along so well also played an important part.
Casper is still close to the kids and, by the looks of things, is still considered a part of the “family.” Who knows, once they reach their destination, something romantic could happen as well between them: after all, Jennifer has just recently said that she can’t stand being single for too long.
