14 DAY TRIAL // Jennifer Lopez and backup dancer Casper Smart may be having more than “just a fling,” as per recent reports. The diva and her rumored boyfriend are now in Hawaii, spending Thanksgiving together.
Word that the 42-year-old star has taken a serious liking to the 24-year-old dancer first emerged online days ago, when reports said they were having a “fling.”
Casper has been traveling with Lopez throughout the world for quite some time and, apparently, they started getting more intimate sometime this summer.
However, it's only a few weeks ago that they officially started dating. If so, things have just become more serious, the Daily Mail writes.
“Jennifer Lopez is soaking up the sun in paradise on a Hawaiian getaway and she is not there alone,” the British tab says.
“The 42-year-old singer celebrated Thanksgiving on the island of Kauai with her twins, other family members and her boy toy boyfriend Casper Smart is rumored to be with her,” the same report argues.
Various media outlets have tried to contact Lopez's publicist for confirmation on whether Smart has accompanied her on the family holiday, but have so far come up empty-handed.
The Daily Mail also notes that, if this be the case, legal trouble threatens to put a damper on the couple's puppy love, with Smart risking jail for drag racing.
Since word got out that he might be involved with the curvalicious diva, there's been a lot of digging around in his past and, according to police documents, Casper is quite a speed aficionado.
“His most recent offense committed in February 2010 could potentially land him behind bars. The charge relates to an 'exhibition of speed' a section of the law more commonly known as street or drag racing,” the Mail writes.
“The dancer – who was rumored to have met the 42-year-old mother of two in May – pleaded no contest to the charge in March after an initial not guilty plea,” adds the tab.
For the time being, though, fans will have to keep guessing about the supposed romance between Lopez and Smart because she doesn't want to talk about her personal life anymore, unless it's something serious.
