14 DAY TRIAL // Either because she's promoting her latest film, “What to Expect When You're Expecting” or because she's thinking ahead in her relationship with Casper Smart, Jennifer Lopez has gone on the record saying she's open to the idea of having another child.
Currently raising twins Max and Emme (4), her only kids from ex-husband Marc Anthony, Jennifer admits in a new interview cited by People magazine that she wouldn't say no to the idea of adding another child to the brood.
Given her age, adoption is probably the means to see this dream come true, word online has it.
“It would be a blessing,” the diva says when asked whether she's ever given any thought to the idea of having another child.
“Every day… they just bring so much joy and happiness to your life, [and] they just bring you right back down to earth,” Jennifer adds.
However, there is also a downside to being a single mother and she is more aware of that than anybody else.
Juggling a career and single motherhood is no walk in the park and this is probably why Jennifer is still hesitating when it comes to having another child.
“I’ve got my hands full. There’s the guilt that comes along with it. You leave and they go, 'Don’t go to work, Mommy!'” Lopez explains.
In these past 4 years, she discovered that only putting family first and work second could she have a happy life.
“That’s my philosophy. So as long as that’s… working in the right way, then I can dedicate whatever time I need to dedicate to my career. You just do the best you can, and say no when you have to say no,” the singer and actress explains.
Since announcing her separation from Marc Anthony, Jennifer has been dating Casper Smart, a 24-year-old backup dancer who toured with her in Europe.
They have been almost inseparable all this time, sending the rumor mill into overdrive with speculation on the imminence of a wedding.
