14 DAY TRIAL // Jennifer Lopez is very busy promoting her brand new album, her 11th to date, “A.K.A.,” but she’s always up for some games and fun. She stopped by ABC’s Live! With Kelly and Michael to talk about the new music she recorded for fans, but also about her kids, her biggest celebrity crush and the men in her life.
Video of her chat with the two hosts is embedded below. Jennifer was looking super relaxed and stylish in an all-fuchsia outfit, and she seemed genuinely happy to be there and even to take a couple of more personal questions.
For instance, she was asked about her biggest celebrity crush and, though she initially said she would rather not name names, she eventually told Kelly, Michael and the audience that she considered David Gandy the “perfect” guy.
Of course, as it so happens, Gandy plays her love interest in her most recent video, the super sensual “First Love,” where he gets to show off his sculpted physique and his brooding skills. Even if he hadn’t been featured in Jennifer’s video, he would have still been “perfect” to millions of women: Gandy is a very successful model and has a very impressive online fanbase.
After speaking a bit about the song, which talks about a love so amazing it makes you wish you had met that person years before, Jennifer knew to expect questions about her love life. She’s never been too lucky in love and the fact that she just recently split from Casper Smart only adds to the curiosity her fans must be feeling about how she’s doing right now.
They shouldn’t worry because, as you can see from the interview, JLo is doing great. She hasn’t lost her sense of humor either.
“You're looking for that thing when you go gosh, I wish I'd met you in high school,” she said of the song, before adding, “We've all had our stuff, you just do the best you can.”
“I'm Jenny From The Block but I've also been round the block several times,” she added laughing, referring to her much mediated and disastrous love life.
Jennifer has been married three times, to Ojan Noa, Chris Judd and Marc Anthony, but she’s also been involved in high-profile romances with Ben Affleck (when they used to go by the moniker Bennifer) and Puff Daddy aka P. Diddy aka Sean Combs.
For the past couple of years, she dated backup dancer turned tour choreographer Casper Smart, but the relationship fizzled out a few weeks ago because of the distance and their hectic schedules.
