However, a couple of months ago, the same JLo was telling the media that, after her 3-year romance with former backup dancer turned full-time choreographer Casper Smart ended, she’d finally learned a very important lesson: she needed some me-time. She was going to take said me-time, she announced.

Not so fast! Despite Jennifer’s honest intention of taking some time off from dating to just appreciate life and herself, she’s had a change of heart and is already back with Casper.
ET Online reports (video below) that he joined her in Las Vegas, where she performed at The Best Is Yet to Come New Year’s Eve concert at Caesars Palace. The two rang in the new year together and are, according to reports, a couple again.
Perhaps time does make the heart grow fonder: the two broke up in 2014 after allegations that he had cheated on her with 2 transgender models he’d picked up online. Jennifer claimed that they had actually been broken up for some time before these reports emerged, and insisted that they were still the best of friends.
At least that last part was true, because they continued to be seen together in public and she is even said to have whisked him away on an exotic vacation last September, because she still considered him a part of her family.
Casper and Jennifer’s twins with ex-husband Marc Anthony had a great relationship from day one they started dating.
Age difference is but a number
In one of her most recent interviews promoting the film “The Boy Next Door,” which is billed a modern version of the classic “The Graduate,” Lopez shut down talk that she’s a cougar just because she happened to date a man who was much younger than her.
At the time she and Casper became romantically involved, she was 42 and he was 24, but the age difference didn’t seem to be an obstacle for them then – and it probably isn’t one now either.
As JLo sees it, if an older man dates a younger woman, no one sees a problem with it, but if the roles are reversed, she gets the “cougar” label. She hates it, because she likes to think that she’s just a woman who happens to have taken an interest in a man, who just happens to be younger.
