Jennifer Lopez Puts a Spell on All Men in ‘Papi’ Video

Jennifer Lopez is undeniably one of the most beautiful and stylish women in showbiz right now, but who knew she could be so enchanting as to cause near-street riots. She does just that in the just-released video for “Papi.”

Even before the release of the full video, there’s been a lot of talk about it, especially after paparazzi managed to track her down and photograph her on the set, doing what looked like a street dance routine.

There was even some talk about how she nearly came to harm when one of the dancers came this close to dropping her.

As it turns out, it was all part of the script.

It sees Jennifer as a lovesick girl who enters her building and checks her mail with apartment mail attendant Lisa.

We understand that her lover is away and she’s pining from him, which is more than obvious by the fact that she’s constantly staring at a picture of the two of them together she has on her cell phone.

Lisa offers her a solution to her predicament: a special cookie, a small bite of which will bring her love back in an instant.

Jennifer reaches out to the plate, grabs a heart-shaped cookie and takes a generous bite of it, alarming Lisa, who tells her she was only supposed to taste it.

The next day, as she goes out, she learns of the effects of the cookie first-hand, as all men who set eyes on her find her so irresistibly attractive that they become violent, causing chaos in town.

They tackle and wrestle each other to the ground, cause explosions and car crashes, and would do anything to win over Jennifer, even if that means stealing puppies from pet shops and shoving them in her face.

In the end, they almost harm her – but she tames them all with the aforementioned street dance routine.
