Jennifer Lopez Puts Boyfriend on $10K (€7,776) Weekly Allowance

Casper Smart is a 24-year-old backup dancer and, as such, it's not hard to imagine he's not actually rolling in dough. Sick of embarrassing situations when he couldn't afford to pick up the bill, girlfriend Jennifer Lopez has just put him on a weekly allowance, says a new report.

Speculation about the affair between the 42-year-old singer and her backup dancer has never stopped making the rounds online since they first went public with it.

As such, it wouldn't be that far-fetched to think that the latest tabloid report is just a malicious rumor – but unnamed insiders insist it's a fact: JLo is paying Smart so that he can “date” her.

“Jennifer Lopez has a kept man!” Jezebel writes, citing a report in the latest print issue of Star magazine.

“She hated having to whip out her credit card every time she went to dinner with 24-year-old dancer Casper Smart, and it 'bummed her out' that Casper had to borrow money from her to buy her a Christmas present,” the e-zine adds.

To prevent such occurrences from ever happening, Lopez included Smart on her payroll.

“So Jenny from The Block started giving the kid an allowance a 'stipend' of $10,000 [€7,776] a week. According to a source, 'She thought $10K was a nice round number',” Jezebel further says.

As a bonus, Smart gets to experience the life of A-listers, flying private jets, wearing designer clothes and spending on a single shopping trip the salary of a regular citizen for an entire year.

“[He] learning to live like a star. Jen is hoping Casper won’t think twice about buying presents for her kids of whisking her off for a surprise weekend getaway,” an unnamed source dishes.

By paying Casper so that he can shower her in presents, Jennifer is making it possible for him to act “like a man,” the tipster explains.

“She can take care of herself just fine, but she’s old-fashioned when it comes to wanting the man to take charge. Plus! He needs new clothes for events and stuff,” says the spy.

This is not the first time that word gets out that Smart is what one may call a “kept man.” Back in December last year, shortly after they went public, he was seen driving around in her pimped out Bentley, which she reportedly gave to him so that he didn't have to take a cab anymore.
