Last time we heard anything about Jennifer Lopez and her backup dancer beau Casper Smart, she was seriously considering dumping him. The latest says that she's still trying to make the relationship work, even though she doesn't trust him at all.
The latest print issue of InTouch Weekly (story via
CB) claims that, after photos of Casper visiting a certain massage parlor emerged online, she's been more or less living in fear that he might cheat on her.
As if that wasn't enough, there's also been a lot of speculation about his “real” orientation, with inside sources saying for the tabs that he is actually
gay and only “dating” JLo because of her money and connections, as well as for the exposure she helps him get.
In other words, Jennifer has plenty of reasons to be on her guard where Smart is concerned, a source says for the aforementioned publication.
Because she wants to make sure his wandering eye doesn't get the best of him, Jennifer is constantly monitoring his phone, fearing the worst but, as they say, hoping for the best.
“She’s been checking Casper’s phone to see if he’s cheating,” a source says. “She hasn’t found anything. Yet,” adds the spy.
Star magazine also reports that the massage parlor incident caused a lot of friction between the two, with Jennifer painfully aware that every move Casper makes is documented on camera.
Moreover, she confronted him and warned him that this was the last time he was allowed to mess up.
“Casper told J.Lo he is paranoid that he’s being followed, and she said, 'You’re damn right you’re being followed. The whole world is watching you! If you [mess] up one more time, it’s over!'” a source says for Star.
Right now, the tab claims, Casper is “on probation” because of what he's done. Jennifer even got him a new bodyguard to help her stay on top of everything.
“It’s gotten so bad that Jennifer hired a babysitter, er, bodyguard to keep Casper out of trouble: Jennifer assigned Casper her personal bodyguard to keep an eye on him because she trusts the guy and knows he’ll tell her truth,” the spy explains.
Jennifer Lopez started dating Casper Smart shortly after filing for divorce from Marc Anthony, the father of her two children. Truth be told,
no one ever imagined they'd make it so far.
