Judging by her first post-divorce-announcement interview, it was Jennifer Lopez who ended the marriage to Marc Anthony, but that’s not to say she doesn’t feel bad about the situation, as a new report suggests. Though she’s been hitting the party scene and is even believed to have struck up a romance with Bradley Cooper, Jennifer is believed to be still spending time with Marc.
The idea is to help him get past the breakup and move on with his life, sources cited by
MusicRooms say. So far, it’s
not really helping.
“In the wake of their shock split, Marc is seemingly struggling to get over his estranged wife. Meanwhile Jennifer sparked rumors of a romance after being seen enjoying dinner with Hollywood heartthrob Bradley Cooper,” the e-zine says.
Determined to move on with her life, Jennifer is, at the same time, worried that Marc is not handling the situation well. He’s already lost a lot of weight, insiders say.
“Jennifer feels terrible that Marc has taken their split so badly. She’s keen to see more of Bradley, but is scared about how Marc will react. He’s not coping and has lost 15lbs recently,” one unnamed source dishes for the same publication.
Because of this, she’s decided to spend more time with him – but may see her efforts rendered unnecessary.
“Jennifer cares for Marc, and is worried about him, even though she knows their marriage is over. But her support could make it worse, as it gives him
hopes of a reconciliation,” the spy further says.
“It’s only natural Jennifer wants to have fun again. She is not going to suddenly stop caring for Marc, but it’s time to move on,” adds the insider.
Speaking about the divorce in a recent interview, Marc refused to pin the blame on anyone, saying only that they realized the time had come they went their separate ways, as we also
informed you at the time.
